About the Course
Learn both sides of real legal work - the courtroom and the boardroom. This isn't just about finding out if law fits you - you'll walk away with a genuine legal project you can talk about on your resume and LinkedIn, reviewed by a professional who's actually practiced law. Over five live sessions, you'll draft a corporate contract clause and argue a mock case before a bench, covering both the transactional side (corporate law) and the advocacy side (judicial reasoning and argument) - the real range of what lawyers actually do, not just what's shown on TV.
You Will Be Able To:
By the end of this track, you'll have built and argued a real legal project, and gained a genuine, evidence-based sense of whether law is worth pursuing further.
Read and interpret a legal clause or corporate contract
Draft a basic clause for a real corporate transaction
Apply core legal reasoning frameworks used in judicial arguments
Structure and argue a mock case brief before a bench
Understand how corporate practice and litigation genuinely differ in day-to-day work
Prerequisite:
No prior legal background required - the fundamentals are covered during the sessions
Strong reading and argument skills are helpful but not required going in
No technical background necessary
